We are lucky enough to have a gym FULL of amazing people and today we are shining a light on long time member, Patrick B!
Patrick is a fun low-key guy that shares his love of CrossFit and encourages others to show up and have fun. Some of you may know him as our “unicorn” from shenanigans surrounding the Open, or as the one-pull rope climber!

How long have you been at CrossFit Hale? 3 years-I think
What has been your greatest achievement at CrossFit Hale? Doing a Triathlon
How has CrossFit Hale helped you in your everyday life? I can eat tacos without guilt
What is your current fitness or life goal? To inspire my children to be good humans and stay healthy physically and mentally.
What advice has a Hale coach given you that was really helpful? Just show up and make sure you EAT!
Can you give us some of your benchmark stats? 245 power clean. 345 back squat. 430 Deadlift. OHS PVC PIPE. Zero pistols.
Who is on your ideal playlist for a workout? Anything E-40
What are your favorite and least favorite CrossFit movements? Fav: anything gymnastics. Least fav: Overhead squats.
Any advice for those just starting out at Hale or crossfit in general? EGO IS THE ENEMY! There’s always going to be someone who can lift more, run faster, do more double unders than any of us. So who gives a shit if you’re first or last. Come in-try hard HAVE FUN and enjoy the results =) oh-and shave your hand callouses!
Most importantly, What two items would you want an unlimited supply of if you were stranded on a desert island? Batteries and Gatorade.
